It is no wrong to hold history accountable for inequalities that exists because history was written from a male point of view and does not reflect women’s role in making history and structuring the society. till date everything related to the male order is regarded as the “norm”,female characteristics as DEVIATION from the “norm” and as such you begin to hear slogans such as if only men were created the world would be a better place’.the failure of history is aided by the law. women are even more raped by the law during cross examination. law decisions are engendered take a case between a husband and wife will be dismissed and sent back home as if the home was good enough before bringing it to court. the decision to child bearing should have been that of a woman to her well being but this is also controlled by the government and his law. But none the less,as more women are being educated,female lawyers have a moral duty to represent what has been underrepresented in our society to ensure that justice exists for all in both legal and economic justice.
